Job Overview:

Delta Instore (Pty) Ltd is looking for a self-motivated and dynamic Sales Consultant with hands-on expertise in design and manufacturing of retail displays. This role combines strategic sales, creative design, and technical manufacturing knowledge to deliver innovative retail solutions. The ideal candidate should be proactive in identifying opportunities, managing client relationships, and contributing to display development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and engage potential clients within the retail sector, with a focus on health, hygiene, personal care, and household essentials.
  • Design and sell custom retail displays, ensuring functionality, branding alignment, and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to develop high-quality, cost-effective display solutions.
  • Provide technical input in manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency and material usage.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and customer preferences.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Ensure seamless execution of projects by coordinating with internal teams.
  • Offer after-sales support to maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, retail display design, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong practical knowledge of materials (mild steel, cardboard, acrylics and plastics), production techniques, and design software (preferred, but not required).
  • Deep understanding of the retail industry and its evolving needs.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and strategically to drive results.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel with own vehicle within Gauteng and abroad, as required.
